The Shit by Bonnie Strange, VFW

Najpopulárnejšia prehliadka na Vienna Fashion Weeku ( myslím v ten deň, nie všeobecne). Prehliadka bola viac o šou a hudbe. Myslím, že je to celkom dobrý ťah. Ak sa ľudia bavia s hudbou, baví ich aj prehliadka a veci. (Aj za cenu kvality ponúkaného dizajnu.) Je to prípad aj tejto berlínskej značky The Shit. Celý koncept značky je postavený na nejakej berlínskej sub-pop-punk kultúre. Nadávky na tričku, priesvitné a blyštavé veci, no  neponúka to nejakú serióznejšiu módu alebo vyššiu estetiku (toť moj názor). Najbližšší pojem v mojej mysli je hnutie 90. rokov:  anti-fashion.

The most popular fashion show at the Vienna Fashion Week ( I mean most popular that day, not in general). The fashion showcase was more about the models, music and making the show. I think that’s a good tactics. If you offer entertaining music, the audience will be entertained and focused on the clothes. The presentation is who you’re.  This is the case of this Berlin-based brand called The Shit. The whole concept of the brand is built upon some sub-pop-punk culture. However it doesn’t offer more serious fashion or higher aesthetics. The closest term in my mind is: the anti-fashion movement.
